Shelly and Jimmy’s Wedding at Clearwater

Shelly and Jimmy were married by Debbie Hawker at Peppers Christchurch Clearwater Resort in Christchurch on a hot and sunny day in early October. Kelly Shakespeare took photos, Ashleigh Jane took care of the bridal party Hair and Makeup and DJ Dale took over at the end of the night with the music. Flowers by Lynette prepared the Flowers for the Wedding. I filmed throughout the day and created this Next Day Edit video for Shelly and Jimmy. Check it out right here.

Here’s what they had to say about my services

‘Rowan is incredible at what he does!! If you were debating a videographer, stop debating it and get in touch with Rowan! We did the next day edit package and it’s beyond words how awesome it is being able to go back and relive the day and seeing things you may not have noticed on the day. The video is so special, and he captured our day perfectly!! Awesome bonus is getting the raw footage of the ceremony, speeches and first dance. Seriously call Rowan!’

The photos below are all from Shelly and Jimmy’s Next Day Edit video.

For me the day started with Jimmy at The Barber Lounge where he was getting a trim and shave. Then I headed over to Clearwater to tune in with Shelly, then back to see Jimmy (and Toby the cat) at home where Jimmy was getting ready, before heading back to Clearwater for the final moments of Shelly’s preparations.

At 2:30pm Shelly and Jimmy were married by Debbie Hawker surrounded by family and friends. It was a picturesque setting looking out over the water.

After a big group photo and while Kelly Shakespeare was taking family pictures, I wandered around and got a few candid shots of Shelly and Jimmy’s guests enjoying the day.

We got a few photos onsite at Clearwater before jumping in the cars and heading to Bottle Lake Forest for a picnic and some bridal party photos and portraits.

Back at Clearwater Jimmy and Shelly were announced in to some thunderous applause, after which we enjoyed Speeches, Dinner and some dancing. I said my goodbyes and shot home to finish work on the Next Day Edit video which I had ready for Shelly and Jimmy the following morning.

It was an awesome day with lots of awesome people. I loved every moment of it!

Thanks to Jimmy and Shelly for having me along to share in all the excitement.

And thanks to you for reading my blog!!
