Brittany and Stuart’s Wedding - I’ve got Wedding déjà vu 😆

Brittany and Stuart were married at Christ the King Catholic Church, and they celebrated with family and friends at The Vines Club. Watch the Highlights of their Wedding Film right here:

I was excited to be Brittany and Stuart’s Wedding videographer. (I’m always excited to be anyone’s wedding videographer though. 😉😆)

The reason they looked me up in the first place was that I had shot a wedding film for Brittany’s sister, Tiffany and her husband Eddie, way back when I was just starting out. (Actually the first Wedding I ever shot on my own!)

Stuart and I had been just a year apart at Highschool! We had even been involved in the same school musicals together. 😆😳🤭

Brittany and Stuart were to be married at the same church that Tiffany and Eddie had used, and Brittany would be getting ready at her mother’s home which was the same as Tiffany had done.

So for me there was a real sense of déjà vu as I walked up the driveway first thing in the morning.

The morning was relaxed, the sun was out and everyone was having fun. Getting some cute shots of Tiffany’s baby was a highlight. Of course the usual challenge for me was choosing just one of many cute moments to put into the Wedding Film! Champagne with the dog also made for a great shot.

After a few hours with Brittany and the bridesmaids it was time to catch up with Stuart and the groomsmen. When I arrived the boys were hanging out in the back yard with a bullwhip. I got into a safe position and got Stuart to whip one of the cans, then it was time for the guys to get dressed.

Back with the girls, Brittany’s nephews had arrived (Eddie and Tiffany’s sons). I got some adorable shots of them getting ready. 😀

Brittany got into her dress inside, and then finished the remaining details outside. It was beautiful, the light was incredible and the trees rendered out of focus in the background look amazing.

If you’re getting married in the summer, get outside as much as you can, it always looks better than being stuck inside!

It was a lovely Ceremony. Brittany and Stuart were clearly very excited which was really cute, I caught several moments of them grinning at each other. 😁

The flower girls and page boys walking in was absolutely adorable!

Brittany and Stuart along with the bridal party and their dog, went to the Groynes for photos. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I had fun capturing all the madness. Brittany and Stuart wisely brought plenty of cold drinks and a chilly bin full of ice, which we all needed as it was a blisteringly hot summer day.

Soooo, I’m not going to say how I got these shots of Brittany and Stuart’s wedding car. 😬😬😬

But cars sure do look a lot cooler in motion - check out the film for the real action shots. 😆

At The Vines Club the guests were taking in the low evening sun. After getting a few shots of the tables and cake I wondered around and got a few shots of the guests. I like to take any opportunity I can to get as many different faces into the film as possible.

The Speeches were hilarious and Brittany and Stuart thrilled us all with a dance they had learnt specially for the occasion. Then before we all knew it the day was over!

Before I left I got this photo with Brittany, Stuart, Tiffany and Eddie!

It was really cool seeing Tiffany and Eddie again after all these years and meeting the newest editions to their family. Their wedding was the first that I shot all on my own and at the time it was a big scary step. It was great that they recommended me to Brittany and Stuart. When I first met up with Brittany and Stuart, Brittany told me that they had all watched Tiffany and Eddie’s film together a few nights before. Which was wonderful to hear.

So that’s Brittany and Stuart’s wedding. It’s awesome shooting weddings where I’m directly recommended. I’ve even got a few more of them coming up soon. 😁
