Lexi and Scott’s Wedding at The Tipapa Estate Woodshed

Lexi and Scott were married in late November at Tipapa Estate in Greta Valley. Lexi’s make up was By Kendal and Kelly Shepard Hair Artist saw to her doo. Jendy Harper officiated the wedding ceremony on the front lawn at the homested. Claudia Pyke and I captured the day with Claudia taking photographs while I filmed.

I pared down twelve hours of footage from across seven cameras to the following eleven and a half minute film! I hope you like it as I’m sure proud of it. 😊

Upon final delivery of their completed services here’s what Lexi and Scott had to say about yours truly:

‘Rowan is an absolute professional and master of his trade. I feel incredibly lucky that I found his page online and picked him to capture our special day. He is the most incredible videographer as you truly don’t notice he is there (until the bridal shots when he needs to assist you in the best shots) and he captures the most real and important moments of the day. It’s so incredibly natural. Rowan’s work was and is everything and more than I could’ve ever dreamed of and thanks to him I have the best day of my life on storage and I can revisit it whenever I want. I cried more watching the videos provided by Rowan than I did on my wedding day. From the 12min video with our own picked songs, to the ceremony and speeches, first dance and all the raw footage. He is absolutely the best. You are in safe hands picking Rowan as your wedding videographer. Especially for those who hate to be photographed and videoed, as my man does, and he barely even got nervous about it all. Thank you doesn’t express how appreciative I am of your work Rowan. I will treasure these videos for my whole life 😊’

And then…

I put a few of the spoken moments together with some of visual ones.

Spoken Moments

I really liked the effect of this style of video. So I’ve decided to make it an option going forward… Stay tuned for more on this in the coming weeks! (Or get a sneak preview here)

Back to Lexi and Scott’s day. All the images here are extracted from the Wedding Film.

That Morning

Lexi got ready with her mother and sisters while Kendal and Kelly attended to their hair and makeup. Scott was severely under the weather but diligently soldiering on getting his car beautifully clean.

That Afternoon

Jendy Harper officiated the ceremony out on the lawn in front of the Tipapa Estate homestead. By 2:30pm Lexi and Scott were signed and sealed with a kiss.

Then it was all on for young and old!

That Night

After some time away taking photos and living it up on camera Lexi and Scott dined and danced with friends and family in The Woolshed.

After Lexi threw her bouquet (which was subsequently destroyed 😆), it was time for me to hit the road and head home.

After making Lexi and Scott a Preview Video and sharing a little Highlights to Instagram, I worked on the first draft of their film across sixteen days and shared the first look at their film with them thirty-two days after they had been married.

Finally, here’s what Lexi emailed me after watching their preview video 😁 😁 😁

‘Rowan, Omfg this is breathtaking..... I cried watching this snippet.

You have captured so much emotion and taken me back to all those moments already.

Your work is beyond incredible and you’re so talented. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to have you video us on our big day. Anyone who has you is more than lucky. Just wow.

I can’t wait to see more, but to be honest I’m so happy with what I’ve already seen.....that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see the rest though 😂

Absolutely, share whatever you wish. Thank you so so much for everything. You certainly made Scott and I feel relaxed and as if you weren’t even there. I made such a great choice having you.’
