Jessica and Justin’s Next Day Edit with Photography
Jessica and Justin renewed their vows with a beautiful ceremony in late September at HiltonView in Geraldine. They had me along to share in and capture the day with a Next Day Edit video and some photography.

‘We are absolutely blown away. The emotion and fun you captured in our video told the most beautiful story of how our special day was. It highlighted times that we didn’t even see on the day as we were so busy as the bride and groom. You were so much fun helping instruct our children for filming with such grace and ease. The photos you took exceeded all our expectations and the lighting and editing was so perfect! We are so pleased we changed our wedding date so you could be the videographer! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!’
For the Next Day Edit with Photography service I switch into dedicated photography mode for specific parts of the day: chiefly the bridal party photos and family group photos.
For the rest of the day I capture the joy in video so that these moments can be included in a highlights video that’s ready the very next day.
This was my first time shooting at HiltonView. I loved it and can’t wait to be back!
Once Justin, his sons and groomsmen were dressed and ready we took a few photos with everyone looking sharp.
Then we carefully got Justin out of the picture so Jessica could get some photos with her boys. Too cute right? 🥰
And in the final few minutes before the ceremony started we fired through a few shots with the bride’s squad.
For the ceremony I was exclusively shooting video. These stills were extracted from the full length, separate video that I put together for Jessica and Justin.
After the Ceremony we all piled into the car and took off down the road. Jessica and Justin had arranged a surprise helicopter flight for themselves and their boys.
The three of us flew back to HiltonView first and surprised the guests by landing on the lawn right in front of the reception marquee. Then a few moments later the boys were dropped off too. They were fizzing. 🤣
Then we collected the full bridal party and grabbed a few more portraits and group shots.
And just after the speeches I pulled Jessica and Justin outside for a few final shots in the evening light.
Once the dancing had started and the party was fully underway I said my goodbyes and headed home for Christchurch.
After a bit of editing Jessica and Justin’s Next Day Edit video was ready. A few days later their photos were ready to send through too.
I had a delightful time sharing in all the fun with Jess, Justin and their family capturing this special day for them with photos and video.
