Quoyah and Bevan’s Wedding at the Old Stone House in Cashmere
In early March Quoyah and Bevan were married at the Old Stone House in Cashmere. Quoyah and the bridesmaids had their hair done at True Grit in Christchurch. Susannah Blatchford took their Photographs and I captured the day with a Next Day Edit. Watch Quoyah and Bevan’s Next Day Edit right here.
Here’s what they had to say about my services
‘ five stars is not enough! Rowan really listened to our plans for the day and captured it all perfectly. Being able to watch our wedding day video the next day was incredibly special and we have watched it a thousand times since. The same day edit package was everything we wanted and more. We look forward to being able to watch them all again in the years to come.’
My first stop for the day was for a few shots at True Grit where Quoyah and her friends were getting their hair and makeup done for the day. Next stop was Bevan and his friends.
Quoyah got her dress on shortly after and we headed up into the hills for a first look.
Quoyah and Bevan had picked out an epic spot for a First Look.
Quoyah’s veil took a brief trip up into the sky before being saved by a dutiful groomsman.
At 2pm with the sun high in the sky, Quoyah and Bevan were married at the Old Stone House in Cashmere.
Afterwards everyone was invited to have a picnic on the lawn of the Old Stone House. It was delightfully laid back.
We got a few shots with the dogs during this chilled out time.
Later there were speeches, singing, cake and dancing with The In Crowd.
Quoyah and Bevan threw a really great party. I had a blast capturing all the sights and sounds for them in video.
Here’s what Quoyah said after I sent through the final video 😁
‘We love our same day edit so much! it was everything we could have wished for and more. You made the music and the day fit together seamlessly. The video made us laugh and clap, it really captured what an amazing day we had.’
