Natasha and Jackson’s Wedding Film and Photos
Natasha and Jackson were married in early January at Mona Vale in Christchurch. Mariessa Waddington took care of the Hair and Makeup. Celebrant Andrea Thom created a beautiful space for the Wedding Ceremony. I was there throughout the day taking photos and immortalising the day in video. To capture Natasha and Jackson’s Wedding I shot a mixture of video and candid photographs throughout the day. Many of the images below are still images extracted from the video footage that was captured to make the Wedding Film. This is the magic that makes the Photo + Video Hybrid service possible - high resolution video that can be repurposed for still photos. I also employed dedicated photography through many parts of the day, especially for a large group photo, family photos and the bridal party photoshoot.
It was all very relaxed in the morning with Natasha, her family and friends.
I tuned in with Jackson and his family and friends as they got ready a short drive away. Because the wedding ceremony was later on in the day we took the time to get some formal portraits once everyone was dressed.
Back with Natasha we pulled off a similar trick once everyone was ready… Then it was time for things to really get going!!
At Mona Vale everyone was dressed up and excited. Andrea Thom got everyone’s attention and before we knew it the Ceremony was underway!
One of my favourite shots. I love that we can see both wedding rings while Natasha and Jackson hold hands.
After some family photos we ducked around the corner for a quick bridal party photoshoot.
Then we were into the Reception. First some Speeches, and then the First Dance, and to finish off the night, some Sparkler Photos!
