Mark and Becki’s Wedding in Cromwell

Mark and Becki were married in late November at the Old Cromwell Town Historic Reserve. Becki’s uncle Bill officiated the ceremony. Baily, from Scope Photography, took photos and the team from The Beauty Haven took care of the make up and Kimberly from Onsite Mobile Hair did the hairstyling. Mark and Becki got ready in houses right next door to each other, which for me, is the dream scenario. 😁 Everyone had a very relaxed start to the day. Becki had a tearful moment reading a card Mark had written for her. Becki’s niece was not impressed with the cameras 😂😂😂. Mark and the groomsmen looked very sharp in their blue suits.

I got a hilarious shot of Becki having a stretch and limbering up before she put on her wedding dress, 😂 then a beautiful first look with her father.

We went up the road to Scott Base Vineyard for Becki and Mark’s first look and some bridal party photos among the vines. During a group photo I caught a moment of Becki giving Mark a range of excited and nervous facial expressions. 😁 A few minutes drive outside of Cromwell we got some more shots at a cool spot that Bailey had picked out on Cromwell-Clyde Road next to the Clutha River. I challenged Mark to pick Becki up and he came through for some great shots. 😁

At Old Town Cromwell Reserve with the beautiful buildings in the background it was time for Mark and Becki’s Ceremony. Family and friends gathered to wish them well, Becki’s uncle Bill led the ceremony and in no time at all they had exchanged rings, vows, kisses and were declared Husband and Wife.

We stayed at Old Town Cromwell for a short time. I captured some of the hugs and kisses right after the ceremony. After a big group photo the guests got on the bus and headed off for location number two - Serendipity Vineyard. Bailey and I got a few more shots with the bridal party at the wharf. I left early so I could capture the bridal party arriving in their fancy cars. At Serendipity Baily took family photos while everyone enjoyed wine, canapés and music. I wandered around and got some shots of everyone enjoying the lovely atmosphere.

Then it was on to location number three, Lake Dunstan Boat Club. Mark and Becki had decorated the walls with fairy lights. 🙌🙌🙌 I’m always a fan of decorating with light!! (Cameras love light! 😉 😁) The food was divine and just before the first dance Bailey and I took Mark and Becki outside and around the corner for some sunset magic. During the dancing the fairly lights really came into their own, out of focus in the background.😍

It was a wonderful day, everyone was a joy to film and hang out with. Here’s what they all had to say about it:
