Catherine and Pete’s Wedding at Melton Estate in Westmelton

Catherine and Pete were married in mid March at Melton Estate in Westmelton. Pete’s family friend Paul lead the ceremony while Celebrant Aurora Christensen kept the formal and legal celebrations intact. Ashleigh and Amanda from Ashleigh Jane Make up took care of Catherine’s Hair and Makeup. Oz of Pip and Oz Photography took the pics and I shot throughout the day to deliver Catherine and Pete their video the following morning.

Pete, his father and friends were up first. I dropped in to catch their antics at the Sudima Hotel in town before carrying on to catch up with Catherine, daughter, friends and family back at Catherine and Pete’s home.

A short distance from Melton Estate where the wedding itself would be thrown, Catherine and Pete staged a first look by the Waimakariri. Pete was very excited to see Catherine.

At Melton Estate at 3:30 Pete’s family friend Paul and Celebrant Aurora Christensen kicked things off. Catherine walked up the aisle to the song Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis.

and before we knew it they were married!

After a Group Shot Oz took some family group shots and I got a few of the guests enjoying the day (and the Melton Estate Wine!!)

We nipped over the road and got a few shots with the bridal party.

Then after being announced in, cutting the cake, a few rounds of speeches and a lovey dinner, Catherine and Pete thrilled the onlookers with their first dance.

Later that night, I had Pete and Catherine’s video ready to watch and share. It was a great day to ride along with.
