Casey and Luke‘s Wedding at Bangor Farm
Casey and Luke were married at the very end of October out at Bangor Farm in Darfield. Stacey Banfield did Casey’s make up, Danielle Bartlett conducted the ceremony and kept it all legal. Verve Real Food Catering kept us well fed with a delicious buffet that artfully straddled the line between vegan and carnivorous (for guests of every persuasion). Paul Mckessar DJ’d the night away in style. Jess McGhie and Bruce Menzies took the pictures and I had splendid fun capturing all the sights in a Next Day Edit video… Which you can watch right here.
Here’s Casey and Luke had to say about my services
‘We cannot speak more highly of Rowan! Right from our first point of contact he was consistently warm, professional, friendly and welcoming, all the way through to our last point of contact. Rowan’s passion and insight are a true credit to his work and he has an incredible ability to capture the special moments of your day that you will deeply treasure forever; those moments that you didn’t even know you needed but that quickly become your favourite memory. Rowan has a hugely warm, caring and effervescent presence, whilst still remaining respectful of your space, and he quickly becomes an immensely crucial and much loved part of your day. We are so glad that we had the gift of Rowan and his magic on our wedding day! Thank you so much Frameboy Films :) -Luke and Casey Bleechmore’

I had a relaxed start on the day capturing Luke and his buddies getting ready at home before heading west for Darfield. Casey and her squad were getting ready at the house opposite Bangor Farm (talk about convenience!) After a lot of laughter and some nervous moments out of Casey (check em out in the video ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻) it was time to put on the wedding dress and show Dad. While Jess took a few more photographs I shot across the road to get set up for the ceremony.
Danielle Bartlett married Casey and Luke at 3pm. Before we knew it they had been pronounced husband and wife and were making their way back down the aisle together.
After the ceremony I broke out the drone to capture the group shot and a bit of Bangor Farm from above. While Jess took some family pictures I did my usual thing of trying to capture candid moments of the guests enjoying themselves. For once I snagged an almost too real candid moment with one of the groomsmen having a bit of a yawn… absolute gold. Directly into the video you go! 🥱 😂😂😂
Then we all ventured out and explored some more of the farm. At one point I even played DJ for a bit with my phone when WAP was requested 😂😂😂
For the Reception we laughed our way through speeches dinner and dancing. Verve Real Food Catering had the job of providing both vegan and carnivorous options and did they ever rise to the challenge! Later DJ Paul Mckessar got everyone to their feet and kept them there with the music turned right up. Promptly after the first dance I thanked Casey and Luke for sharing their day with me, wished them a great night and headed home to begin on the video that they would be watching and sharing the very next day.
Here’s what Casey sent me the day following the wedding:
‘Rowan, our video is BEAUTIFUL!! Had us crying all over again!! It honestly couldn’t be more perfect. Thank you so so so so so so much. You were such a hugely important part of our day and we absolutely loved having you with us.
Thank you so much for all your hard work and your absolute wizardry-ish skills for pulling together such beautiful capturing of our day.’
