Ashleigh and Jared’s Wedding at Harpers Homestead
Ashleigh and Jared were married in late October at Harpers Homestead in Swannanoa. Jess Campbell Hairstyling and Stacey Banfield took care of Ashleigh and her bridal squad in the morning. Marina Arps officiated the ceremony. Moveable Feasts kept us all full and satisfied and Boogie Beats kept everyone on their feet. Stacey Cavalier took photos and I captured the day with a Next Day Edit video.
Here’s what they had to say about my services
‘Rowan did such an amazing job with our Next Day Edit wedding video. It was so special to be able to wake up the next day and the video was already available to watch! Having a videographer was one of the last things that we decided on but I am so glad that we did because it is something that we will cherish forever. I would 100% recommend Rowan to anyone that is looking for a videographer as his work is amazing :)’
All the photos here are taken from the Next Day Film above.
The day started with Ashleigh getting ready at Harpers Homestead with Jess Campbell and Stacey Banfield. Once I had a few shots, I headed back to Christchurch to catch Jared getting ready at the Sudima (not the Covid one 😆). Then I returned to Harpers Homestead where we’d be for the rest of the day. Yay! Once Ashleigh had her dress on it was time for the Ceremony!
At 3pm Ashleigh and Jared got married and I simultaneously filmed the ceremony for the Next Day Edit and live streamed it for their family and friends who were unable to attend due to the dreaded Corona Pirates.
Marina Arps conducted the Ceremony. Marina is also the owner/manager at Harpers Homestead. Talk about an end to end service!!
After the Ceremony we retreated to the shade for nibbles and drinks. We took a quick group photo first and while Stacey was taking family photos I wandered around and captured a few smiling faces for the Next Day Edit.
We didn’t have to go far at all for photos as the blossoms at Harpers Homestead were in full bloom. Stacey, Ashleigh, Jared and I also snuck out briefly after dinner for a few sunset shots on the road right by Harpers Homestead.
Later we retired to the Harpers Homestead Barn for Speeches, Dinner and Dancing care of Moveable Feasts and Boogie Beats. Once the dancing was underway I said my goodbyes and raced home to get stuck into the video that Ashleigh and Jarred would be watching and sharing the very next day.
It was a beautiful day with wonderful people in a fantastic setting. I loved every second of it and can’t wait to be back at Harpers Homestead soon!
Thanks for reading my blog!
